the length is the same as your old 221- the engine mounts even bolt on! (this was done so the barra could go down the same production line as the old 221/250 engines & fit their jigs for machining)

a lot of people swap the 5.4 valve springs but the best bet is either crow cams valve springs or Spool industries, spool also have forged cranks, rods, pistons, valve springs, oil pump gears, heads studs, main studs & billet main caps for high boost make sure you O ring the block & head
