He does have gears. The tailshaft turns and so does the diff, just not the wheels. 6GET no LSD.

 

Could be diff , but unlikely

Yes, but this from a guy that doesnt know what a half shaft is.   

 

He has gears. The wheels just don't turn

I guess we'll see when he gets somebody who knows what they're doing to have a look at it, rather than the stuff he's said here.

no :pooh:, sherlock... that doesn't mean that it couldn't be stuck in one gear and not able to select any different gears. If the tailshaft changes rotational speed from gear selection changes, then i'd say you're right that the gears are actually selectable, but we don't have actual evidence of anything to confirm this.

The gearbox grinds as he puts it in park because the tailshaft is turning still. Holding his foot on the break won't stop the tailshaft turning if the half shaft is broken due to the open centre diff spinning on the spider gears rotating the broken half shaft.

Open centre diff strikes again haha
