Can you post up the video? Just paste a youtube link into the comment box and it should embed by itself.

Is it losing power when it starts vibrating? To me it sounds like there could be an intermittent miss happening.

Could be anything with what you've told us... Answer if it changes with just revs or if it changes with speedometer changes, please?

I am not sure where the OP is from, but surely if he went to a recommended tuner who knows these cars very very well, they may find the problem quicker??

Gave it a good beating then turned it off and when it got started the noise/vibration was evident.

Sound coming from front of engine.

Have either of u tried giving it a bit of a beating again since? Or have u noticed a loss of power?

A video of the car idioling going from the back of the engine bay to the front would be handy atm.

Front housing eould be good to hear close up.

Yes we have driven it since, not so much give it a good boot.. we started it yesterday and it sounds rattly in the front of the motor. Will try and take another video tomorrow. Not game to drive it atm. thanks

No the car doesnt lose power but when you give it a good boot it vibrates the whole car.

We started it yesterday and it sounds like timing chain rattle. will try to take a video of it tomorrow.

cheers for your help

Can you remember when the vibration started?

After giving it a boot?

Does the vibration become worse with more speed? Higher revs?

Is it worse in certain gears?

It could be as simple as the exhaust being loose, or a timing chain tensioner.

Hey, yes I can remember, we took off from home giving it a good boot... drove for 10 minutes.. stopped at a shop for 5 got back in started it.. the whole car vibrated bad. Went straight to our mechanic.. he said turn off the aircon.. it stopped  the vibration, drove it home no aircon on.. drove it up town next day not flat out.. and the car vibrated just idoling at the lights no aircon on. Took it for drive yesterday and still doing it.. thanks it is hard to trust any mechanic around this town..
