So getting ready to go away this morning and the kids sit in the car with all doors/boot open for a couple of hours.

Guess the battery wasn’t that flash as the car barely started and threw up a warning (for airbags) on the dash, then started up ok.

Got in, no air con. Just warm air.

Tried turning on/off etc, nothing, ideas?

Then for good measure, power socket  goes out too, no radar/accessories.

Any clues, related?

Cheers.

you're going to have to charge the battery by either driving it long enough for the alternator to do the job (assuming there's no charging system issues) or charge the battery outside of the car before driving.

one thing you could "try" is disconnecting the battery for 10min or so then seeing if it comes back to life, but it's unlikely, as FG's do weird things when the battery is low.

Mine does that sometimes even when the battery is charged.

The most common cause of this in all cars is low gas charge and secondly is the pressure switch is failing or has failed.

Just driven it 3+ hours, battery charged, no air con and no accessory plug/ charger.

Was going to try the disconnect trick, but don’t have much hope. Will try fuses as well, but left manual at home, so if anyone can tell me size and location of the air con and cigarette lighter fuses, would be appreciated.

Thanks for the responses.

Not sure which model you have, but the below link will open a copy of the owners manual

Fuse for the accessories is in the fusebox at your right knee

edit: had an issue the other week where the disconnect fixed it.

Good news - the ICC seems to get confused in strange ways lol.

Charger will be the fuse.

Have had mine pop a couple of times using an inverter with a "Fast Charge" phone - something about the phone drawing the higher power blows the fuse but doesn't trip the inverter

That’ll be it, had a Valentine and a high power rechargeable torch going.

Couldn’t work out which fuse, seems to be a few with acc on?

From memory try #20 - 5th fuse along the top row - 10amp fuse

page 154

Check if there's a fuse puller attached to the cover panel or in the fuse box (best to get one if you don't have one already when you grab some fuses if there's no spares in the fusebox thing)

edit: could be the 20A fuse at bottom right - #15? (I seem to recall it being a 20A fuse that was blowing on me)

Just keep pulling and inspecting til you find the right one lol
