Hey,

IPV - $3100

HRD - $2000 - $2700

DSS (coming via Dodson’s Motorsport) - $2500

I am really tempted by the idea of a carbon fiber one, but haven’t ordered anything yet.

Trust IPV to be the most expensive lol! Out of them I would go with Dobson’s. Have you looked at any other options? There are a few options here in Auckland to have a custom one made up, but would be nice to have something already built and tested.

Not at this point.. can you suggest anywhere to try? Yeah I like the idea of the carbon fiber one and it sounds like a simple install though, fairly expensive. Who does your work?

I have heard good things about Drive Inn located in West Auckland, http://www.driveinn.co.nz/ Would be worth giving them a call they will be doing mine once my engine is done, In saying that they would obviously need the car and im not sure if it would be worth the trip up from Welly. No one shop really does my work, In terms of a good mechanic John Edwards motors is excellent knows his fords well. But apart from that we dont really have anyone that stands out in NZ for tuning etc. I will probably be purchasing the Plug in Haltech so this should open up my options abit.

Old thread, but hey, better late than never.

I'm in the market for a built tailshaft and took an interest in Typhoon's carbon tailshaft and was wondering who do I need to get in contact with being in Adelaide to get my hands on one, thanks 👍
