Hey guys. I just went to my mechanic the other day to book in to get my spec 1 plazmaman valve springs put in. And hes said hes never had to do them on a barra before. And hes popped the question of will he have to take the cylinder off if the springs are too strong, and im guessing since he hasn't taken them out before if hes able to do it with out the tool they make for the barra springs. Cheers

He'll need the tool (it can be hired from mace or atomic that I know of) and compressed air (20 to 40 psi)  to hold the valves up and no you don't have to take the head off.

Most mechanically minded people should be able to do it themselves so even if a mechanic hasn't done it before on a barra there shouldn't be any problems.

Here's the atomic valve tool instructions.

If you don't have faith that your mechanic can git er done then by all means go somewhere that has done it before.

I personally would go somewhere else but that's just my opinion.
