Also, do you know how to cycle between inputs on the IVSC-5501? (I may input both a DVD and Digital TV Tuner)By the way, great work on the write up! As I have mentioned before, it is $180.00 but it't not just a staight lead, It has a circuit on it to allow switching and other functions via remote control. To run both screens you will need the RGB Y splitter as mentioned on the other posts. you will also need a 1.5m RGB cable to connect between the dx-n and the ivsc and a 4 meter rgb to run from the dx-n to the icc.If you need any assistance, call me at Blau..ask for George.Bye What type of cable do I need for the sound, is it just 2xRCA -> 3.5mm stereo? Also, what do I need for the IR to work on the ICC whilst using the Blau BA Interface Cable? cdm Member 886 Member For: 22y 4m 2d Posted 14/05/04 07:34 AM Author Share Posted 14/05/04 07:34 AM G'day XR6NA, At this point in time I do not have the IVSC installed as I am running sat nav only (have been too busy to takle video etc). The BA interface cable (RRP $189)I purchased from my local Blau dealer (there is a list of these on their website). If you don't already have the aux audio fitted you can find the plug up behind the fuse box (not the mono one for the mobile phone). The BA interface cable automatically overalys the ford screen when something is changed. When I do finally install the xbox I will be able to switch video sources through a screen in the menu of the sat nav - not sure how you would do it without this. Why not try an xbox instead of a DVD player? About the same price but more features, I think an xbox is about $300 these days - cheaper on eBay or trading post. Chris. Chris.Chris,Thanks for that. Are you sure the menu for the IVSC is actually in the SATNAV unit? This seems a bit weird, wonder what I do if I don't have a SATNAV.Is the IR wire just a normal wire? Do you just join it up to the Blau Interface Cable? Can you get NTSC out of the X-Box easily? Is it Composite video?I suppose an invertor would be required as well?I'm a newby to X-Box only having PS2. Guest foxoulis Guests Posted 20/11/05 05:58 AM Share Posted 20/11/05 05:58 AM This is soooo interesting. Thanks for all your updates. I really really want satnav now. Anyone interested? I have a brand NEW Blau Sat/Nav travel pilot DX-N unit.(never fitted to a car...). I bought two of them, one I use, the other a deal that went bad... The one I'm get'n rid of -it's screen is mounted on a special moulding to suit a Mitsi Magna/Verada TJ onwards, which was done by Misti factory in SA as an original part.(What I'm saying is the 5" screen doesn't have it's own original Blau "dash mount" casing).I'm "murdering" this unit way below what it cost... offres ~$500 ???Email me if interestedAnd the angle you took that last paic at... how's your neck.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
