Hey guys. Im running plazmaman cooler and pipes. 4"inch airbox. 1000cc injectors. 3.5" dump and highflow cat. And looking to go 15 or 16psi of boost when I go for a tune. I have a walbro 255lph pump and a bosch 044 which puts a minimum of 33lph in I believe laying around in the shed and was just wondering if either of these will do the job instead of going out and getting another. Cheers

I'd use the 255 as it's pretty much drop in.

I had one running 98 octane in my car for a while and it worked fine at and slightly above the power levels you'll be seeing.

I didn't measure the return flow when using the 255 but iirc it ran out at about 18 to 20 psi or so on my car.

Edit: I'd suggest the 460 if you had no better pump than stock but then you may need a fuel reg upgrade to go with it as well as a wiring upgrade.

That's all good mate. You should be fine at 15 to 16 psi.

This is worth a mention; I pushed mine until it ran out of flow then backed it off slightly. I wouldn't advise doing this as it'll take one cold morning/night to run out of pump again. The only reason I can get away with doing this is because I tune my own car so know what the car/tune is going to do when I drive it and can keep an eye on the afr with my in cabin wideband gauge.

You should ask your tuner what they want to do as they may not want to push a pump as hard as I would.
