ULX, personally I wouldn't use it as a daily oil. Motor will become very noise and it is designed for the track purposes only.

My last two oil analysis's say different.

What makes you say its for the track only,some people drive harder on the street than on the track compared to some lol.

these motors are designed to run a mineral oil if you look at the top end arrangement,its a half roller motor basically.

When did you use this and di you go from synthetic to this without a flush with cheaper mineral oil?

Track only oil by most oil company s definition are oils low on detergents, things that clean the crude and stuff from your engine,

By removing the detergents it also lessens the oil foaming and their fore less of a chance low oil pressure sitituation that was explained to me a few years ago from a pen rite rep and I'm sure same for others so if you drop it every 5000 kms or whatever you won't have any issues with track only oil just a w*nk really and marketing

This is mainly for main stream oils not high zinc oils and all that stuff, so Castrol penrite shell mobil etc it was I was referring too mostly what people use anyway.

I have been told a two seperate well respected tuners here in SA that ULX is the type of oil you dump after a day at the track not a daily. ULX is very very noise on start up. My mates F6 typhoon ran like crap with ULX and so did my cousins S15. When they changed to a full syn. All their problems left. I was present for this. Alo ULX regardless of the viscosity is like water. It barely sticks to the side of the bottle when you shake it.

Agreed that some people can't drive for sh*t on the track Lol (I.e. Mallala) :pleasantry:

have a look at the design of the top of motor and you will see why a good mineral is a good choice for these.

well,my uncle owns West Torrens Dyno and he is pretty much the most respected tuner/mechanic in Adelaide and he recommends it.My tuner that does the falcon turbo also recommends it for daily work,even in his built motors under warranty.

If what you said was true then some form of "crap" would have been found in my last two oil reports.I can forward them on to you if needed so you know im not typing chit.

Im going by MY own experiences which is a match to alot of others I know running it.as for it being like water.......come on bloke lets keep it real aye.I suggest you do some more research regarding this oil and its properties it holds.

CAVPOWER use it in their heavy machinery also.
