Look for a gasket leaking, an intercooler fitting leaking or your wastegate being stuck open. Maybe the actuator hose isn't plumbed correctly or the boost solenoid isn't plugged in. Here is the turbosmart iwg instructions. Here is a youtube clip showing how to adjust the preload. You will see that if the actuator is not adjusted properly the wastegate will not be sealed shut.
