Hi all im pretty new here, I own a 09 F6 and ive done some work to its which includes:

1000cc injectors

Bigger fuel pump

Hollowed out cat

Cooler piping

BOV

Built ZF to take 550rwkw

Tune making about 400 on 98

Just recently it has started to blow blue smoke on idle and runs pretty rough until it warms up. Does anyone have some idea of if its turbo or motor?

Thanks guys

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Just a quick question, How long ago have the mods and tune been fitted and done on your car?

Perhaps if it were not running rough I'd hold some hope, but a combination of the two.... This is gunna cost some $$$! Step one is a compression test & go from there

valve stem seals when they're cold and are no longer sealing perfectly can leak quite a lot of smoke. Then once it warms up the metal expands and can sometimes re-seal the valve stems (at least a lot better than when cold) and you'll notice these side-effects. Valve stem seals would be my guess.

my first bad guess, yes, but valve stem seals makes more sense when I thought about where the smoke is going haha
