Yeah that's why the guys at nizpro never recommend to do it. They only did it because my setup required more fuel pressure and the standard pump couldn't keep up and I hadn't planned on doing a surge tank and pump yet etc. as I said they replaced it with better quality gates submersible hose and I can say from driving it round it must have been perished or split from not long after I got it back and just kept deteriorating.

That submersible hose looks fine until you lower the pod into place , then it kinks.  Very common.  That's why it's best to use the stock hose ( if it's still in good condition) with hose clamps.

And I read all about this in someone else's thread and saw that hose that you posted etc. but I thought nizpro would sort it out etc. if I was doing it I would just do a surge tank and pump etc and leave the stock pump in place. But I wasn't ready to do it yet.

To be fair they told me to bring it straight down and sort it out.
