Am I missing something?

Trying to do a compression test on my 09 fg xr6t, got her all apart, coild and plugs out, gauge hooked up ready to go, turn the key and nothing happens, just a click of a relay (assuming starter relay? and no, there is nothing wrong with the relay)

What am I missing?

Something to do with that auto start crap.? How you flick the key and it'll crank the engine for you till it starts.?

little help would be awesome please ??

Remove the starter relay in the eng bay fuse box and bridge the relay terminal in the fuse box straight to the battery positive.

We haven't had confirmation it worked yet - could have detonated the car and OP could be splattered.

edit: I guess then, either way - very efficient - I withdraw my question
