Looks alright to me,not overly keen on the colour though At least it looks like it is going to have decent brakes but I wonder still what gearbox it will be using especially with 550nm

Probably fall in love again once I see it at the Melb Motorshow

I think you'll find that the decent looking brakes in these shots are in fact the optional Brembo's. I assume the "standard" brakes will be as per GT.

Talk about torque! :smilielol:

mate that is way to soft..nothing like the sketches that have been released..needs imo to be more aggressive..

;)

I reckon it will be closer to 290kW and look a little different once it rolls out of the FPV factory, and I also think you might find those bonnet vents cut into the rear Plonky. Only time is going to give us the real car, and if ALL of the production decisions had been finalised, the Typhoon would now be going full steam ahead. At least I hope I'm right, I'll be a bit miffed if it is only 270kW :(

I really am over the whole bodykit thing.

The BA is such a great looking shell and it's a pity that they always have to resort to some cheap looking add on (HSV springs to mind)

I like the idea of low, fat and mean. I gurney flap on the back, arches pushed out and a deep front bar. Some discreet bonnet venting would also be nice.

Oh well, it still looks OK.

Yeah, l agree with you Plonky, something along the lines of an M3/M5. (l would love an M5 one day.....)

But the T-Series, especially T1 and T2 proved that understated, classy performance cars dont sell in this country. Its what attracted me to the TS50 we had, but not many were unfortunatly going by the dismal sales figures. l think it will be a long time before we see FPV or HSV for that matter, go along the M5 styling route.

The GT looks well balanced with the wing and bonnet bulge, l guess the Typhoon looses some of that balance as the bodykit is essentially the same except for a slightly redesigned rear wing. that's why some sort of bonnet venting may have helped finish the look off.

Don't worry Ken they are only envious because they did'nt have the maturity of mind and damn good taste to order HgAg for their T.

I dont mind the wheels, I agree with plonky on the subtle body styling, I like the DJR styling bar the bonnet, Low and Fat, id like a rear wing like that on mine!

Subtle body styling............if you mean like the Dick Johnson XR8
