I'm just worried about how much power it has and was wondering if there is any bolt on device that can reduce power / response while she drives it but can then be switched back when I jump in. Was thinking something like a pedal max...but not sure they go down on response, only up? Any thoughts appreciated. Cheers, Steve

But if you're desperate, you can get a rev limited tune (often called a valet tune) and flash it in when you need her to drive it (or flash the factory tune for you) etc.

The throttle progression is pretty idiot proof.

For an everyday, quiet driver it will just seem like a taxi. Plus the traction control will cut the fun if she accidentally gives it a boot-full. My wife drove our XR6T for about a year, and then came home one day with a big smile - "I think I found the boost!"

I have no worries letting my almost 80yo mum drive mine - no different as far as she's concerned to driving her 4cyl VW

But if you are still worried you could get a throttle controller and wind it down. Save fuel too haha.
