Taken back in time, would you buy a XR6 Turbo again?

There's a lot of good and bad about the T on this Forum, who has been badly bitten by the XR6 Turbo bug and who could care less when trade in time comes? If you went back in time with all that you have read and know about the Turbo now, would you still get one?

I would! <_<

I'd just buy elsewhere probably!

l would answer maybe.

Next time around l may be tempted to go for a full house XR6T with some mods. Now that the luxury pack is available with the T, l would add premium brakes, 18's, side airbags etc and then perhaps an uprated gearbox followed by a Nizpro kit along the lines of what Brian (BCL) has done. Best of both worlds, wild performance and all the comforts

Then again l may go for a BA2 GT, or perhaps a 2 yr old German cruiser. Decisions decisions ;)

Yep I would go another T... It all depends on what is around.! If the Terry comes in T form and drives like one. It may be a goer! If I had to replace it tomorrow. Then Yep the T would be the winner!

I would put no, only because I think variety is good. But maybe next company car for dad (providing he lets me choose again) hopefully will be an XR8!

And to those who buy BA XR6T after BA XR6T, I just think, whats the point?? why not keep the one you have? it's the same! lol

If it wasn't for wanting to have the GT experience, I would have another in a second, I had a superb run, (total time off road less than 8 hours including servicing for the year/27,000k's) xr6t, is still just about best bang for buck Aussie, definately best looking of the local crop too (apart from GT of course)
