I'm looking at 450-500rwkw fairly soon and was wondering if it would be worth me keeping the t-56 and do it up (input shaft, shifter forks ect) or use the tr6060 and do what I can to that box. Sorta like the feel of t56 more so I'm on the fence Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/93232-t-56-or-tr6060-ba-xr6t/ Share on other sites

Clutch is the issue at that sort of power. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/93232-t-56-or-tr6060-ba-xr6t/#findComment-1639488 Share on other sites

They are as tough as nails... Get a twin plate clutch and you'll be fine.... There's no way I wanna spend $$ on it just to have it break. I don't thrash my cars but when I give em sh*t I want reliability. I'd go the tr6060 if it isn't going to cost you too much. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/93232-t-56-or-tr6060-ba-xr6t/#findComment-1639501 Share on other sites
