Is it a visual improvement thing or is there a performance benefit to it?

Racing opponents hate it! (went 8.5 all around)

Able to elaborate on what the performance gain is? Does the .5" enable a wider tyre to be used or is the same size tyre just being stretched on? Increased my sickness by 137 points Also can run wider tyres, once I can afford a set of decent 255 rears (245 on right now). Really need 9" or larger (so can run 265 legally) but mine were ultra light weight, strong and cheap so I couldn't say no. Also went from 18" to 17" and have a nicer ride now to boot.
