PAH Donating Members 361 Member For: 16y 1m 9d Gender: Male Posted 14/05/17 05:44 AM Share Posted 14/05/17 05:44 AM Guys, I priced a new gear lever boot at my local Ford dealer the other day - $600+ !!! It comes with the entire gear level and requires gearbox removal to fit. That's not gonna happen! Any ideas? One more issue. Can anybody recommend a trusted air conditioner mechanic in the Castle Hill Parramatta Blacktown areas? Or areas not too far from these? Thanks. Maybe ebay might be worth checking for parts and fit yourself, its an easy job. Here ya go. Ebay item no. 301677440576

And mine is a 6 speed manual - not an auto. What's the removal procedure? Unscrew the gear knob and the gear lever boot unclips from the console? Anybody able to recommend a good aircond service centre in western Sydney? PAH Edited 14/05/17 04:15 PM by PAH

There are 2 bolts on the bottom of the leaver. From memory the boot is integrated with the stick and and knob and surround.
