Data dots CAN be removed but the cost of doing it means that it is not worth it for theives to steal cars with data dots.

The dots can not be removed with solvents - they must be physically scraped off - therefore a very labour intensive job (= costly)

I opted for glazing as WestPoint offered to match my local dealer's "protection package" price which was only for standard paint protection. For $1235 I'm getting the glazing, interior treatment and tint. Probably still a little overpriced, but considering the money I'm spending on the rest of the car I'm happy to spend a little more protecting it. Just hope glazing is as good as it’s cracked up to be.

Anyone here that has had it done want to share their thoughts?
