Stretch tyre 245/30r20 to 225/30r20 8.5wide

Will stretching my front tyres from 245/30 to 225/30 fix my inside tyre wear......going through front tyres every 3 month due to only inside lip wear!!!

if you are having wear on the inside of the tyre, then you need to get your alignment done every 6 months.

I get mine done every 6 months. Keep in mind that I had this issue before I had my coilovers installed.

When I got my coilovers installed I asked them to install a camber kit too.

 

This has all help stop the issue for me. As long as I get the alignment done every 6 months I am okay.

I am not saying that you have to get coilovers or a camber kit. I am saying that it most probably is the alignment.

Just out of curiosity, what tires do you have? 

They not the achillies atr sports stuff are they?

I think get camber kits installed and a proper alignment at a suspension and wheel alignment specialist rather than a tyre dealer.

 

once you have the alignment sorted I would recommend to regularly rotate the tyres.

 

also maybe you'd get better handling with a smaller rim size but that's my 2c....
