What headunit are you using? You say you wired the speakers directly to the headunit? have you disturbed the plug for the headunit harness when installing it?

@Ralph Wiggum

pioneer mvh-285bt, At first I piggy backed of the existing speaker wires but found I can't have both the icc and head unit on the same wire haha.Sso I cut the end going to the icc so now all speaker wires run direct to the new head unit, it was all working sweet as until I stuck the fuse panel and the glove box back in

I've seen situations like this where it works when it's out but wires short out on each other when it's jammed back into the dash.

It may not be the issue but it can't hurt to rule it out.

Yeah I had a feeling that was happening from the start. Oh well im just gonna pull it all out when I knock off and re-run the wires I connected lastnight to see if that helps. Other wise I'm just gonna have to run all new speaker wires which I should of done from the start haha

honestly you didn't even suggest what might be the problem?

I've had a similar thing happen with a HU that had a separate fuse for the speaker outputs versus the power.

Did lol though - creates account, after 5 minutes has a crack at the site developer and then pisses off again.
