A few bumpy km's later I made it to a servo , had no choice , could not stop . I have a gold locking nut inscribed with 5B28 . The damn thing split apart like it was made from cheese so I can't get the wheel off to put the spare on . Today I called Ford dealers and they all said that these locking nuts are not made anymore and cannot be found . Does anyone happen to have one ? Otherwise I think I will have to put a slightly undersized socket on it (21mm I think) , smash it on and then wrench it off . If I get desperate I might go at it with a chisel and hammer . Once you so how easy it is to remove them you'll realise how pointless the stock locknuts are.
