I honestly can't justify the cost of these new "hot hatches", brand new my G6ET was the $59K mark and I feel it's way better value for money, especially considering how relatively cheaply you can get extra power out of it.

I think it will be pitched at the 40k mark? 

 

everyone wants hot hatches or suvs

 

so prices will dictate demand

You seem to be forgetting the "Australia tax" mate.

Even when the AUD was over $1USD we weren't even close to parity prices with the rest of the world on most things.

Sure Bali was cheap but who really cares when the stuff most people really want like cheaper cars & (for those with low IQ's) iPhones really didn't move a lot in price.
