Prob in here already somewhere, too lazy at mo to measure! Missus wrote our fg2 xr6t (manual) off (got t-boned). Got a ba2 xr6 auto in good nick. Will front and rear cradles bolt in new to old? Thinking yea. Who's done it already? Rebodying basically. 32000kms, I bought her brand new...... Boohoooo

although I can't tell you specifically what has changed between ba2 and fg2 in terms of where the drivetrain and subframe bolt up, I'm pretty sure they're fairly different in a lot of ways and you'll be fabricating a lot of bits to get it to bolt in.

you'll be able to swap the motor (although is the FG sump different) as well as the box.

not sure about ECU stuff relation to which wiring loom to use.

definitely possible though, just as keithy said you'll have to fabricate or buy some parts here n there.

Rear end will bolt in.

Fgx Front cradle into a b series is not a bolt in deal, would require very large amounts of fab.

to fit the engine to b series car you only need to change the sump, oil pickup, dipstick (which you may need to drill the block for depending if it has the front hole or not), and finally trim the splash guard as its in the way of the dipstick, pcm will have to be a b series so you'll need to retune it to suit engine and also code in the gearbox depending which one you use... hopefully that helps a little
