Just thought while the turbo is out if there was something simple/cheapish to do I would do it. Just running 98 with a 255l pump.

You can put a billet 11 bladed GTX style wheel if you want, which will spool faster (supposedly) while making a little less noise.

My_XR6_Turbo Member 282 Member For: 20y 7m 1d Posted 14/04/17 12:12 AM Author Share Posted 14/04/17 12:12 AM Question. I saw this video. What makes the turbo sound like a jet? I'm not a fan of the dosing noise though. What power is the stock turbo good for if ported?

The stock turbo can make just about 400rwkw ported on 98, with a fair whack of supporting mods. A bit more with E85, if you chose to go down that route, but it's out of it's efficiency range around that mark.
