why is it that no one has mentioned the steering wheel height. seriously anyone else has no gripe with the steering wheel getting in the way when you get out the car?

Even when the seat is at it's lowest point????????

Every car has its own quirks, it's own characteristics and it's own dynamics. We are on a forum that enjoys a big, rwd, turbo or V8s and we know the issues with them.. but we live with it because we "get it".

Just a P76 bloke likes P76s. Or a MX5 guy likes MX5s.

only people who complain about that are the tall bastards hahah

they also complain that the top of the steering wheel covers the speedo ahaha. ford engineers must all be short asses.

What crack are you fellas smoking I'm 6ft 4 120ish Kgs and I find everything about the driving position fine.

I love doing massive road road trips in my g6, far more comfortable than the wrx. And don't get me started on the sillycar

FG seating position absolutely terrible IMO, reason why I didn't buy one. In saying that im 6.7ft. Middle pillar moved right forward. Have to agree on seating position also, they just don't go lower enough

I agree seating position is a bit on the high side but it's not terrible, and I'm 6ft. Steering wheel is ok, I can see instrument cluster and plenty of clearance getting in and out of the car. Leather seats are pretty ordinary, virtually no bolster and too soft. Given that you pay a premium for the turbo and it's a significant performance increase they should have put better seats in the XR6T. Cornering hard, with no bloody drivers foot rest, is a bit like trying to hang on to that big spinning disc thing in Coney Island at Luna Park.

Ha yes it does. In spite of all this grumbling all I have to do is come out of a certain large roundabout near me, which then proceeds up a small crest and onto a straight in a non urban area, with the fun control button off, and feed it to the big black beast and I forget all the sh*tty bits of my coon and nearly split my head in half with a monster grin. And seeing as how it's on my way to work, traffic permitting, I get to do it every day:nyaah:
