Run the engine and listen for any hissing sounds from possible leaking exhaust manifold. 2. Plug in the XCAL3 and check for DTC codes (as discussed with Rab) 3. Pull the battery and leave unconnected for 10 mins (thanks mazda74) 4. Flash back in my custom edit tune. 5. When I'm on the road to Radelaide - set cruise on 100km/h and check the instanenous fuel consumption read out. Not discounting issue with O2 sensor either - am guessing its a common issue though I've never encountered it before.

By the way I went around the Turbo Intercooler head and some of the cir clamps were loose - especially the one connected to the pipe from the SS Growler so I hand tightened those. That's the right thing to do - right? We're not meant to leave them loose by 1/8 turn for expansion or something are we? Listened in engine bay and heard no hissing on exhaust side nor smelt any exhaust fumes. When I check for DTC codes with the XCAL3 I get a P1000 error. Rab mentioned something like that. Anyways gonna reset ECU next by disconnecting battery for 10 mins. Then plan to flash back in my custom edit. It was rubbing against the ZF pan to housing flange due to position in aftermarket exhaust and no point leaving it in anyway!

So if o2 sensor is the cause here, its only the pre-cat one that is in play.

Maybe see if someone will swap sensors with you tomorrow morning for a back to back comparison?
