When you move the volume knob it ticks the same speed as you turn the dial. If the volume is turned down to zero it stops. The volume of the noise seems to be the same no matter how loud you turn it up. It does it on all inputs (iPod,radio,cd etc). Anyone have any ideas or had the same problem? Thanks

On my old BA used to have a ticking noise cone through on speakers as signal feedback from charging my phone whilst it was used to playback audio from its Audio socket into FM transmitter (car audio picked it up as just another FM radio station). Same symptoms as those mentioned above: Constant ticking noise Does not change in volume as volume is adjusted, but does stop when volume is reduced to zero No change whether engine is running or not. Here is a vid to show what I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/J3s6IHbG5LY It seems to be an issue with the rotary encoder or the ICC internal amplifier. Wondering if it's something user serviceable or not? I'm not afraid to pull the soldering iron out if needed.
