I need an second opinion on widths, offsets and tyre sizes

im considering switching from 19s to 18s for better ride quality

thinking of running 18 x 8.5 +20 with 255/40 fronts and 18 x 9.5 +25 with 275/40 rears for an FG

pref without guard work, tyre stretch or hitting suspension arms

anyone know of a good offset/width/tyre size combo in 18s?

pls post up your pics if you have any. thanks guys

Bought some new wheels from the states. Sizes and offset are 19x9.5 +20 on the front with a 255/35/19 and rear is 20x10 +40 with a 305/25/20. Have yet to hear any rubbing noises :)

Thanks guys. Keen to take the stripes off, just want to make sure 100%. Not keen to buy another set haha. Wheels are tsws. And yes it did previously have big offset with stretched tyres. Can confirm that the 305s don't rub with a fully loaded car. Very happy.

hey guys, I apologise if this has already been said. I am looking at some 19x8 wheels for my chariot and really dont know what the PCD and offset actually mean.

details

5 Studs x 114.3 PCD

Offset: 40

will these fit onto an FG?

thanks in advance :D
