I'm after a set of rota grids and came across a set of 18x9.5 +20 all round. Question is, how will they fill out the rear? wha'ts a good offset people go for to fill the rears with possible rolling of guards?

Hi guys would these wheels fit an fg f6?  4 pot brembos.

20x9.5 +10 on front

20x11 +10 on rear

other option would be 9.5 inch allround with offset +10 or +20

any feedback would be great, guard rolling/flaring etc....

Your ute will need more aggressive rears I rekon....the fronts will be pretty flush...but not 100% sure with BA/BF cause think they can take an extra 5mm or so compared to FG. I.e. a 9.5 +22 looks perfect on front of BA/BF....but on a FG it will poke a little. The one thing I think that sucks is how sometimes these cars can be slightly different....like theres a picture couple pages back which apparently is 9.5+12 and looks super tucked in:

And then on my car with a +20 I.e. should tuck in 8mm more than his....but mine poked out a bit (ignore the extreme dirtiness please lol):

Not sure if dumping them makes it stick in more....I always thought it did but it would bring more camber in, but the other dude above doesn't look like he's running much negative camber to make it fit...weird huh lol

Have you got a ute or sedan? I think the first combo would look pretty sweet on a ute...you'll have a tough time making them work on a sedan rear though lol Not saying it wont work but definitely need a flare and probably still wont be in the guards. For my car, I found the rear needed a little more offset for the rears when running same width all round. About 10-15mm I rekon is the sweet spot I.e. next safe rims will probably be 18x9.5+22 front and 18x9.5+35 rears that gets the rim lip to be pretty flush with guard.

I thought I had pics of my 18x9.5+20 all round....but must be in another thread. Again please ignore the messy state of the car (just dont zoom in and it looks ok) LOL

Yeh those sizes would be pretty extreme on a sedan. I think its possible, but need massive work to make it fit. There's a dude on other forum with a white GT (Jim) who has done custom widened fenders to fit his freakish setup. Cant recall (maybe Stripes will chime in) but think it was something stupid like a 11 or 12" with a 325 tyre lol

But for me personally, I don't see the appeal of super wide rims....I only fit the size that I need....realistically 285 is the max (without spending crack money on 295 or 305 and trying to make them fit); so that only requires a 10" rim I think.

BTW....hope you've driven on 20s before cause apparently not the best ride. I like 18s, but 19s is a good compromise in terms of filling the gaurds and not being crazy rough ride.

Hope you can find something decent!

I'm sure this has been asked to death but couldn't find anything in the last ~20 pages.

What's the general/standard offset area for 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears on an fg?

Will be stock height for a while but eventually lowered.

Cheers guys

Sedan +25 front +40 rear

Apparently the wheels im after only come in +25 for the fronts but +35 for the rears but that shouldn't be a problem.
