That is an aggressive looking rim! What cars your mrs got? Can't imagine em on a falcon

yeh they sure are, I think they would suit the fg shape nicely..

Though mrs has a VW Scirocco R.. should be able to squeeze some 19x11's under there!

Hey Guys,

The work wheels, aren't going to work out for me, won't get them until mid July... Sux.

I'm back to looking at the rota grids, but whats up with the colour on their web site? it seems different between wheels.

I really like the 2nd photo, but the top photo almost has a bronze tint to it.

Has anyone seen these on a nitro falcon?

Do you think it will look good with the flat on front and concave on rear, I think it will but wonder what you guys reckon.

Yeah they definitely have a bronze tint to them I bought mine in the hope for the gun metal colour fitted to my viper FG

Hey fellas,

I've decided to get a set of rota grid/r for the fg and from everything I've read for the best fitment I need: 19 x 8.5 +25 with 235/35 front and 19 x 9.5 +38 with 255/30 on the back. Going for as flush as I can with the car being lowered on sssl/ssl king springs while still being able to put down 300kw.

Anyone see any issues or possible corrections for this setup?

Do you want to run 18 or 19 inch?

18x8.5 +32

18x9.5 +30/38

19x8.5 +30

19x9.5 +30/38

The 9.5 +30 offset will sit a smidge outside the guards but can be fixed with a rear camber kit.

You will be looking at the Work D9R, it is the successor to the XD9.

Quick search on ebay and you will find them for 19x9.5 = $351/ea, 19x8.5 = $337/ea, 18x9.5 = $337/ea, 18x8.5 = $322/ea

Sorry about the late reply man, been busy. I just upgraded to an FG F6, and would still like to know if I can run these wheel sizes? Would rather 18's but I might be getting some 6 pot brembos off a mates FPV.

Personally I don't want to run camber, is the FPV's body wide enough to fit it flush? Or can I get away with some guard rolling?

Rims poke a few mm past the rear gaurds? Guessing your not running 275s?

What suspension?

Thanks dood!

That's exactly my point....with 265 or 275 it might be too close to guard.

I don't like the whole jap thing about putting the widest rims and then tiny tyres to make it fit....I don't see a point going wider and not chucking on biggest tyres, but each to their own I suppose!

Did you have 18s before? Noticing much difference in handling or harshness by going to a lower profile tyre? I guess having a 35 all round shouldn't be too noticeable.

It actually was a DTM thing the stretched Tyres ;)

Illegal for Tyres to protrude out the guards but wheels were ok
