You Sir, are a legend.

Now my picks are between:

SSR GTF01:

18x8.5 + 32 front

18x9.5 + 40 rear

~$870 per wheel

SSR GTV01:

18x8.5 +30 front

18x9.5 +35 rear

~$470

Having trouble finding the reason for the difference in cost on the mobile site

Just messaged JDMconcepts who are the distributor for SSR and all those offsets for f01 and v01 are discontinued :(

Back to making the GT5s fit... 18x10+38.. who can give me their wheel specs and how much clearance they have to guard/strut?

Can space the blade in but can't roll the guards much in FG apparently..

I reckon you can make em fit Tom but you'll def need to run a 5mm spacer to make the rears clear the trailing arm which will make them +33

These are how mine looked when I was moving some weights for a mate and had the boot fully loaded. It had about 2mm clearance between the tyre and guard and bear in mind the tyre is bigger than a std 285

I reckon with 275s they'll fit perfect even if they're oversized 275s

Also, is your car lowered?

I can use a spacer to inset the control blade rather than a hub spacer so I don't lose any guard clearance.

It's on Shockworks coilovers, haven't set everything up yet so height will depend on wheels, not an issue

The control blade spacer won't change things because its the 'knuckle' on the hub that is the problem and a spacer won't move that

Everyone says there is no room to move with FG guards but this is a lie. I got at least 10mm more clearance from rolling and pumping my guards, and that wasn't pushing them too far

Do they really mean that they won't buy them at that offset or that SSR actually don't make them that way anymore?

I had similar conversations with other wheel "Distributors" and they basically lie and say that wheel manufacturer X doesn't make them anymore. only to find they do when I contacted the manufacturer or overseas Distributor.
