Never saw that with the KU31s. I don't think I'd run them again.

I know a guy with a 285 Hankook RS3 on the rear with the same offset and size we run. It did hit on his car very slightly only at the track and on the inside on the arm. Also the RS3 is a large tyre for the size so I'm told.

(still plenty of tread, etc and has been on car for over 17,000kms or so).Maybe the track day caused the issues with the Kumhos? I'm pretty gentle on the car 90% of the time The guy I bought them from said mixed reviews at the time....KU39 is supposed to be their 'premium' tyre; yet KU31 was apparently better...then 3 weeks later he told me the opposite was true (thanks to more recent feedback from customers). But yeah I'm rambling here lolAlso....its worth a shot...but if you are NOR....I usually got to TTF Joondalup (I think they are now called City Discount Tyres or some BS)....last time I was there (8 months ago)....they just started stocking the Invos....they obviously marked them up a bit for general enquiries...but the dude did say "let me know what you can get them for and we will try to match it"....then you wont have to worry about picking up stock or whatever. Also for goodyear EF1A2...I went with KTAS East Perth (cause down the road from work) - $473 fitted (other places wanted $550 + fitting)....and I think all the KTAS have same prices (cause I tried Clarkson store too)....but obviously your 19s will be slightly more expensive
furiousgibbon Member 86 Member For: 17y 2m 22d Posted 03/02/15 09:58 AM Share Posted 03/02/15 09:58 AM yeah it very well could have been the track time that ruined those KU39s. The tread was pretty low so just keep an eye on them, I might have got an old batch that had been sitting in the sun for 5 years (bought them cheap from Tempe). I don't get the KU31->39 difference, I understood it as a successor but for some reasons the 31 is still sold in some sizes. I read that the 39 is better, I couldn't really tell a difference but they were much quieter when they were worn. Some people reckon the grip just falls off a cliff after 10,000km, similar to the Dunlops we were cursed with.As for the Goodyear AS2s, I picked up the ones for the Golf from Rubal at Croydon Tyres, he had some amazing prices on common sizes like 225/40/18, was about $160 per tyre! I'd like to support local tyre shops (the independent ones), but we just get so ripped in WA on tyres that I can't help but order them in from over east.Seaton I don't think I'm gonna risk running the 285, the Invo is actually 288mm wide and even the NT01 in 275 (which is 277mm wide) on a +35 offset is close enough to the arm. I reckon a 19" +38 will require cutting that plastic brake line clip off, but if that didn't give enough clearance I'd be stuffed. I'm still running stock power so 275 Invos will surely give me enough traction. What every happened to those modified control blades that were mentioned in the early pages of this thread?

I've had my FG F6 for nearly 4 years now and I'd left it completely stock until now. I found a set of used Enkei's online for a good price, so here they areRear: 19x10 ET22Front: 19x8.5 ET22Current Tyres are what were on the rims when I bought them.275/35/19245/40/19This is a test fit for now, so I will put the correct tyres when I fit them up for good.

I upgraded rims to run larger rear tyres like 275 or 285 and 245 for front. Not your weird 225/245 combo....that would prob be less effective than standard rim setup? I'm guessing you've found some cheap jap rims or something....each to their own I suppose :/
