Ok a question. It's been suggested that 9.5's will fit on the front of an FG. Is this true even if lowered? The only pics I've seen on here that I think were 9.5 actually stuck out of the guards. I thought about a set of these with 11's on the rear but they don't make less than a 9.5 wide....

I have experimented with lots of 9.5" rims but only in 18".

18 x 9.5" will fit in with an offset of +22 to +30 but it depends on tyre size and negative camber.

Anything over a 265 tyre may rub on the upper inner control arm.

My goal is to run 270 slicks on the front on my SSR Type C's in 18 x 9.5 with +22 offset.

Have 3.5 neg camber and will know next month of I need to roll the front guards too.

Just had new tyres put on the rear and they only just fit!

4sl springs, 20x10 +38, pumped and rolled guards, -1deg camber and a 265/30 tyre

Now everyone says 275/30 is an easy fit and 285/30 is a squeeze but fits and some guys have low cars so that can only mean my offset is actually wrong, or people are running high camber to fit a big tyre on, which seems a bit counter-intuitive to me.

Where is the offset stamped on the wheel so I can check?

Just want to put up some accurate info for people like me who want a decent sized tyre on the rear without running major camber

Most of the guys on 10"+ rears are Utes mate, looks like you have a sedan going by your picture?
