Fg Offsets And Tyre Questions

Okay thanks! I think I might actually go with a 275 just because looking at prices for wide tyres I don't think I can afford them as a uni student lol. I should be fairly safe with a 275/35r20 (Falken 452 more specifically) do you reckon? Does anyone know how much stretch that'll give cause not the biggest fan of a lot of stretch

The price of my 285's was $380ea and 275's were much the same. I wouldn't be going to a 275/35/20 as the profile will be too big 275/30/20 would be better. On a 10 inch rim a 275 will have a bit of stretch but not a great deal.

But given that's the aspect ratio isn't it a percentage of the width. So a 285/30 would almost have the same size wall as a 275/35 given that the wall on the first tyre is 30% of 285 and wall of second is 35% of 275? I realise the 275/35 would be bigger but ever so slightly (can't be effed to do the math lol)
