18x10 +40 is the way to fit wide Tyres under BA-FG with no rear brembos

I ran 19x10.5" +23 on my FG rear, due to brembos, I had 8mm gap between spoke & caliper, annoyed me as it was like 2mm on the front lol

So you think +41 should be the go? (Only have brembos on front )

Keeping in mind the R888s are a wide tyre

I remember reading on here that 19's and 20's can go as high as +42 on a 10 inch wide wheel but 18's can't because they foul where the control blade connects to the hub assembly. I think you can only go as high as +25 on a 10" wide. I could be wrong and it may depend on the style of wheel but just something to consider

Hi guys, I've read almost the entire thread but quick question.

I'm running sssl fronts and p4 rears (ssssl). Will the rears scrub with a 275 tyre? Not sure on what the best profile for this set up will be either if someone could shed some light it'd be awesome :)

18x8.5+30 and 18x9.5+38

Cheers

Hey guys, after reading a heap of posts about putting 20's on an FG ute. I wouldn't mind seeing it sit about 10mm inside the guard lip. Stock height for now but will be sitting just above the rubber (not on the rubber) I have a couple of questions about what would fit best. Looking at lenso D1R's that come in between +30 up to +42 on the rears.

1) I found that 20 x 8.5 +35 with 245/30/R20 on the front is perfect and as for the rears, 20 x 10 + 35 with 295/30/R20 is good as well (I think?)

2)some people on here posted that +40 is good as well (with a 275 tyre?), but would I still be able to fit a 295 tyre on it?

I'd really like to fit a 295 tyre on a 10" wide rim.

Thanks,

Chris.

Any pics of sedans running 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 , both plus 35. This fitment is what I am considering.

Thanks...

it seems most people run HSV size tyres even though not legal, anyone copped defects or insurance issues?
