I was joking. If it's flush you couldn't possibly have a measurement of 125mm. That's why I said you have to measure straight out from the rim face to a straight edge coming down vertically from the guard lip.

If you're looking down the line of the car, draw an imaginary line from the edge of the guard to the ground, or hang a piece of string and then measure the distance from the string to the lip of the wheel

guys quick question is it possible to fit 265 tyres on the front. I was looking at buying some varrstoens 18 x 9.5 +30s te copys and invos I dont want any stretch and I sure as hell dont want tyres hitting the guards any info would be awesome ps: its a sedan

What model sedan? FG? B-series?

But I'd imagine a 9.5 +30 would much your suspension bits. I know someone who ran a 255 up front of an FG on a 9.5" +25 rim and it JUST cleared suspension but had to have his guards rolled and even then it still sometimes rubbed on the plastic guard liner.
