Plenty of people have passed roadworthys with 10s, and plenty have been defected for it to.

Depends on who's doing it.

Well the guy that does my pink slip is a family friend but don't really want him to approve something too illegal or though he probably would if he know's I've done everything legit.

Might have to give him a call so I know whether I can sell my old rims or not

yeah im getting 10.5's and thought I would keep my stock fronts with good treads and pop those on. I thought you didnt need a pink slip with a car until its older then 5 years or something?

Oh yea your right! I had to get blue slip when I bought it because got NSW rego, was used to getting pink slip cause my old car.

I probably should still check though, don't want to not pass rwc because of the wheels and not having another set to put on

Thanks for the help guys.

Is that your car in the profile pic Corzza? If so, that's my next car - colour and everything.

Sure is mate. Go have a look in the members pic section for all the pandas. For mine Jimmis and XYZ are the stand out

NSW is 5 years old before E safety check (pink slip) is required. An inspection will not take into account width of tyres. Its more for road worthiness. Worn tyres, light operation, oil leaks, exhaust leaks, suspension ball joints and bushes etc.

I know it sounds ambiguous.. but that's how it is..

Got my lips rolled and guards pumped as much as they could before cracking paint and there is no way I'll fit a 285/30 tyre on the rear at my height unless a run minimum 1 degree neg camber. I could probably get a 275/30 but then that will still probably hit on sharp bumps!

Definitely beware if your looking at going 20x10's with 4SL's springs!
