My guards were rolled too Pazzo, but the profile of the wheel was a bit deceiving as it sat out 5-10mm past the tyre.

Will a 20 by 9.5 with 35 offset with 285 tyre fit on the back of my FG without olling guards. Thinking about getting dark Argents.

I have 20 X 10" +35 with 285's and I had to roll the guards. Reason being the RHR was rubbing slightly. My Cradle is off to one side by 2 or 3 mm.

You are better off rolling just to give you a bit of breathing space

Are they 9.5 + 40??? You sure?

Trainer had 10 +35 and they sat flush... Yours look like they poke?

They look to be +30 or 28

Cant get pics off my phone to the computer but I measured.

Tyre to control arm is 3mm but has been rubbing slightly.

Rim to control arm is about 9mm, just less than a centimetre.

Mate I cant understand how yours are rubbing. I got plenty of room. I can fit my whole thumb in there. Plenty of room for me to go 10.5". At a push I reckon 11" with the right offset.

Bbs 9.5 +40 stamped on them.

But I do have a 4% bigger diam than stock size. That control arm isnt straight. It heads towards the outside of the car slightly to where it attaches the body. Mine must only rub when the tyre distorts as it clears when stationary.

Fair enough mate. From all this I can conclude that if I stay at +35 il be able to get 10.5" and still have a bit of clearance.

If I go +40 it will probably rub when the tyre distorts. Plenty to investigate.

Just curious Ryno what tyre pressures you running?
