winstor Member 611 Member For: 15y 9m 1d Posted 21/04/12 05:32 AM Share Posted 21/04/12 05:32 AM (edited) Just checked my fronts, I have roughly 20mm from the edge of the rim to the outside of the guard, so if you wanted to roll/pump your fronts and run a little bit of camber you could run the following in 19s.19x8.0 -119x8.5 +519x9.0 +1119x9.5 +1819x10.0 +24The 19x10 +24 might not have the required clearance on the inside however, so 19x10 +21 would probably be better. Our cars (FGs at least) can run some very similar offsets and widths as the 350z, so a good place to find high quality rims for good prices is the my350z forums, provided you can get the guys to ship to Aus I think Tocchi was running a 19x10 +22 on his XR8 with some camber in the front. It seems quite possible that you could run a 19x10 square setup even on the sedans with the correct offsets, camber adjustments and guard rolling/pumping, and maybe even an 11 in the rear.Looking at a set of the Varrstoen TE37 reps in 19x9.5/10.5 +22, however have been told that the 9.5 +22 will not clear the 6 pot Brembos. Also wasn't any slower in a straight line either, they were very light weight for 22's 1.5-2.5kg heavier then the factory 19's I did lots of acceleration tests and managed many sub 5 0-100km/h taking off in 2nd!those tests prove that its ok to run 22 then(just gotta find some light ones)...lol thank youI LOVE THAT LOOK..imo I dont really care if its unroadworthy and so forth, just want it to sit like batmans car..very nice stance!Looks sh*t, hence why he changed his wheels I really cant answer why he changed them buds, but that's your opinon..its hard to find a tuff set of wheels in 22's to suit an FG unless your willing to cough up 6-7k..haha not me that's for sure.I have found a set of 22"x 8.5 +35 offset all around? now can I go a wider rim with say bigger offset on the rear or is that the limit for an fg when its really low.? I'm thinking of getting orange to match my car...yeah I checked them out, some good choices, not too pricey either..I like!it doesnt really matter whether the two peice or not,ill just powder coat them whole then add colour to the spokes.I think that's the best way!now just to clarify if I go a 22x8.5 with a +30-35 offset 235/30/22 Front,Rear 22x9 +30-35 offset with say a 275/30/22 this would or should be ok?do I have to run any spacers? my car will sit hopefully as low as Mexican Batmans car?im also thinking of lip/rolling my gaurds, will I be able to run wider wheels? whats the limit without the tyres poking out or rubbing?thank in advance guys..
