Just bought my first barra

Just took it for a drive and was missing pretty bad on idle and while running too, on the way home tried to give it some curry and coughing spluttering then started pinging,

engine cute out while I was driving I won't be doing that again until its sorted thought I blew it up... 

Will start with replacing the coils and plugs and go from there,, so what coils are the go if I'm wanting to get more power out of it later on

After talking to a couple of tuners the best thing I can come up with is put a stock turbo back on it and hopefully it will sort the over boosting issue

as long as no ones messed with the tune and if that's all good then I can sort out the miss fire by the elimination process.. 

If I want to tune for power later I can just thought its the cheapest way as I'm pretty sure I can do all the work myself and peace of mind

knowing it has a quality turbo on it as long as I get the turbo cheap enough....

If you already had the stock turbo then that advice is ok but buying another turbo just to see if it fixes it is not good advice imo.

 

Turbos are too expensive to buy for a process of elimination especially as it won't be adding any foundation to making more power.

 

Although the turbo may be causing the issue it isn't the issue if that makes sense. It'll likely be tune or other electrical related.

 

I'd be more inclined to spend that money on getting it to run right with the current turbo.

Yeah ok, that wasn't actually there advise its what I came up with, starting to do me head in a bit!!

So a tune with SCT-4 is around 2k, does that sound right? Then there are other things that might come into play.

Don't know wtf to do really hey...
