Elturbo New Member 19 Member For: 9y 9d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 01/04/17 03:07 AM Author Share Posted 01/04/17 03:07 AM Update guys ive just thrown some coils in it but in the mean time ive stupidly broken the small 90 degree rubber bend that joins the small hose/pipe from the rocker cover that goes into the crossover pipe (if you understand what I mean I dont know what its called?) is the car driveable/startable to check if ive fixed the problems with rough idle and so on? I would assume its not safe so I wont start her. dam :S And ive just found another problem the hose clamp that joins the piping to the front of the turbo is complelty loose. Good as Sorry just to make it a bit coearer the thin diameter plasticy pipe that runs on top on the throttle body with the plastic nut joining it to the crossover pipe is the one I broke. It can be disconnected no worries temporarily and just glue it back into place onto the crossover when you get a chance. If you give it a flogging then expect that a small amount of oil will spill out. Just get a screwdriver onto that turbo pipe clamp and tighten it up. I actually have that rocker cover pipe just sitting around if you get stuck and can't source one. I don't have the short rubber bit but I have the longer plastic bit. 2 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/92900-abs-light-no-speedo-hbrake-light/page/3/#findComment-1635646 Share on other sites
