Right so now, I fixed the ignition barrel-

still had the same issues with the speedo, randomly it stopped happening for a while but now its back accompanied by slightly rough idle and upon full throttle the engine splutters and seems like its almost cutting out.

so maby it is coils? Is it expensive to change them over?

cheers

calm down baby it was just a simple question why "end thread" what if its not that...

although I will change them with "genuine coils" and let others know the results.

It's not uncommon for these cars to have coil problems. Just put a set of genuine coils in it (might as well do plugs while your there) & dont get any ideas about washing the engine (unless you have another set of coils handy) You can pick them up on fleabay relativley cheap but I would only buy genuine- cheapies might work but if they dont when you eventually find out & put ford ones in youvé lost alot of time

I guarantee you its your coils

VDO coils are fine, my old car ran sweet with them. get genuine if you've got plenty of money.

jet just wants ya out on the road doing sick sids, he might sound like an asshole but he's grown up and means well these days..
