Rang malwood and was quoted $2750 (upgraded though) just bought some after market ones from supercheap (made by bearing whole salers) and one had theses and can tell me what the go is I paid $223 each so not sure if that's good or bad (compared to $2750 in feeling that there cheap crap that is just gonna break)

Is it just the rubber boot that's split? If the joint and bearings are still ok you can just repack it and chuck a new boot on. Have a look in the driveline forum. There is an old thread called 'genuine ford shafts are a rip off' or something like that. That'll give you some insight. I personally wouldn't buy cheap aftermarket shafts unless there was evidence that they are strong enough or I had to limp around for a while. Also Google 'The driveshaft shop'. There are bolt in shafts good for 700 rwhp that are $1800 and there is a shaft and hub kit good for double that for $200 more.
