The needle went back to full. So faulty guage. Seems to be ok now. With regards to the fuel economy it has me stumped. The best I could get since the new tank (reset trip) was 15.6 and that is with my foot flat to the floor from each take off....I know it is good fuel economy, but it's not used to it. Got me worried that the engine isn't getting enough fuel. I can't say it's not as powerful as before because it's been too long a time apart to compare.Weird!! That roundabout I was heading down towards - my office was next to it. I missed the thumbs, was watching for the usual clowns to fail to indicate before hitting the anchors for it.A. Guest VixxenChiQ Guests Posted 05/03/04 12:06 PM Share Posted 05/03/04 12:06 PM (edited) When I'm driving through these areas:1) Set the cruise control to 80km so I've got more time to react than if I was doing 100. 2) Keep my foot just waiting on the brake pedal for that split second quicker reaction time.3) Use high beam where ever possible if the road is clear. 4) Get the passenger to keep an eye on the road aswell, my girlfriend has spotted heaps that I've missed before.5) If possible drive behind someone else, let them hit the roos, but drive far enough back so you can stop if they slam on the anchors. .aww.. poor cro! that car sure cops a lot!good that your all good though!can ii just say the driving behind other ppl thing.. doesn't always work. 'personal exp' (was in the car)on the way to Thawa (canb) 3 cars. (we wern't together)1 ute, big massive bull bar, little excel, then us (comodore..dont ask! lol)anyway. no lights on the road. the ute suddenly pulled over to the side of the road, no warning, just after a drive way, we all though he missed his turn and the excel pulled out to go around him a bit. then it pulled over within a few metres, then we pulled out to go round him coz we thought they were together.. we saw a roo, bottom right of the car.. we litteraly taped the thing. it left the slightest scratch on the car...so we pulled over after we realised there had been a roo. turns out the ute had hit him, then pulled over. the excel pulling out had coped him full on in the bonnet, and we clipped it... and somehow the bloody thing still hopped off... dunno how long it would have lived though.was just amusing 3 cars... 1 roo... grrrrr...
