You were doing 110k's and that's all that happened to your car? Man I think you got off lucky. Especially lucky that the carcass didn't come through the widscreen at you.

Sorry to hear about it though. Glad you're in one piece.

Cro - Why bother getting it fixed, after all I think your tape work just add's that little bit of extra character.. Ever thought about entering the repaur business...all damage fixed for $5 (the cost of a roll of masking tape). You'd be on a winner.

Good to know you made it out alive with so little damage...Hope you get your baby back looking like new.

Just a question to ya Cro did your air bags go off when you hit it?

No they didnt.

From my experience, you need a bit more of a hit than Cro's to set them off.

Dagabond

Howmuchisit???

$500 exess, which I am very happy about. I guess paying $3300 a year finally paid off...

First assessment was $5000 damage, but now they found more damage so it's increased a bit, not sure by how much though.

If I wanted to do that I'd have to sand blast the entire car then :P

geea

I also know how good it feels when you get her back. With the stone chips gone too.

Hardly waiting :D

Shoo-roos are a load of crock mate,I had one on my EL when living in the National Park, still took out 3 roos in 4 years @ $500 a bumper bar

Thanks for the heads up, just saved me $380

esky

Whats the $$ damage

I'm sure most of you remember the Kangaroo Valley incident, that's getting fixed up now too Something about going sideways into a guard rail after impact  So $$ is well worth it, even if it's just to fix up all the stone chips...

All I could find is merc silver duct tape...so that's how they get the colour on those cars....

Thanks for all the support everyone, will let you all know how the repairs go.

We need to setup a special counselling group within this site for those of us with "anti-kangaroo" sentiments. Maybe even a skirmish hunting party for the April festivities....

Cro, know how ya feel mate. Everything will be so much better when Gadan comes back to you on Thursday looking brand spanking new. ;)
