At least now I know why you dont want to come to Heathcote! Why didnt you just say so :)

12.44 might put you around, say, 42nd out of 55 entries in the washup :)

55 entries for the NATIONALS! No wonder you're pedaling so hard for entries!

We get more than that at a street meet every Friday at Calder

And you have it wrong, coz I DID (past tense) want to come to Heathcote, but now wouldn't waste the fuel to let you see my car  You wanna see my car run, you can come to me. Otherwise, I don't give a F...........

Tuna has a poor attitude towards everyone but himself. It's wonder anyone will turn up at Heathcote and I'm growing tired of whatever it is that dribbles out of his mouth...... I'm totally sick of it.

Loges,

I figured from what I have both SEEN and DRIVEN in the way of Phase III cars that an 11 should be a snack, even on the stock converter!

It seems all of your posts are about critercising everyone.

Harsh............

Did you knock your head as a kid or something? If you read that, it says, that after driving a Phase III I reckoned that an 11 second pass would be easy, very easy. that's not being harsh....is it? 'I THOUGHT' that's giving a good product a compliment. C&V doing a 10 in a Phase III with only a more aggressive state of tune and some fuel prove me right on that one.

100% you were never coming to Heathcote mate, and its got nothing to do with me, you just dont want to be whopped by a bunch of Commodores. After reading the way you mouth off on here about your drag victories against stockers on the street that's fair enough. Have you ever thought though that on a concrete pad like Heathcote, fully prepped at a big $$$ cost, your times might pickup to something a bit more acceptable? While your pride might hurt, your times will improve.

All bullsh*t aside 100%, and there is plenty of it here! (from both sides I might add) I spoke to a couple of our faster guys such as the well known Plan B who has pedalled some amazing times out of near stock cars and he has agreed to give you a bit of a hand on your setup if you come out with us. Help you with tyres, launch technique etc. etc. He helped me recently to the tune of a few tenths, and I first started drag racing in 1988!

You see to guys like that the T isnt the enemy, rather its a curiosity, and they would like to see you run fast with it. Pete told me you are a good bloke Mark, and I am prepared to accept that.

Come on guys lets all get on with life, after all we all have the same passion for cars and performance. Martin it is awesome that you have put lots of effort into the LSI drag nationals, Maybe you should organise a similar day for the Ford Guys In the future.

There is going to be plenty of fast Fords getting around within the next 12 to 18 months this should make the effort worthwhile for you.

Martin please remember that most of the guys on this forum are not DRAG racers and they simply run their cars for personal enjoyment, and some may get really serious if they get encouragement rather than criticism. :smilielol:

My mouthing off has all been in REPLY to your spruking about your 12.7 with a STOCK car apart from a tune! Which, after reading through the LS1 forum last night, doesn't look like it even impress' them, when we all know it took a lot more than just a tune. If you were honest up front, you would have a lot more cred, with us, and your own over at LS1! So when you roll the stock ute out from the dealer, give it ONLY a tune, and do 12.7, I, along with the rest of this forum, and the LS1 forum, will be impressed.

And you mustn't have paid attention in English class when you were a kid, coz putting the exclamation mark at the end of your sentence indicates to most that what you are saying is a slur at someone's inability to achieve an 11, not praise towards APS's Phase 3. I have ran 12.44 (although I'm sure I'm not at the cars potential, maybe just the drivers) and everyone knows what has been done to my car coz I told them, not coz I was busted by someone else for having extra mods than I was claiming.

PLEASE, please show me which post I bragged about my drag victories? I freely admit to being an absolute novice at this, having only taken my car to the track half a dozen times. If you go back through the earlier posts, I was in fact intending to come, and have already arranged the 2 days off. Guess I'II just have a long weekend now. When was the last time you were at Heathcote? Let me tell you, there's not much big $$$ about the place. I ran there in January, and will be back again in May, with a bunch of guys I'd be happy to spend the day with, win or lose.

Nothing to do with pride, there's always someone faster than you out there, you're just a jerk! Do you actually read what people are saying about you? It should tell you what impression you are giving people, as an event organiser, that can't be good. Constructive criticism mate, take it on board, and pull your head in.
