Bought a fgx turbo last year, got given a x4 flash tuner recently and have taken it too a local ford performance shop. For $240  got 2 tunes loaded,  12psi and 14psi.told to go home, charge battery and load it on but after reading some reviews of this shop blowing engines and so on, im a little worried to install anything .  Is 14psi safe to run on stock engine? This is my first turbo vehicle so I can really say I have no idea! Confused and need help???

Do NOT load a generic tune. Sounds like pingtune haven't changed their ways...

Get a custom dyno tune put onto your x4. It's absolutely worth the price.

Fark, I hope it is not Pingtune at it again. As mentioned above and in many other threads, do not load email tunes into the ecu.

You are better off getting the car tuned at a respectable tuna in your area.

there are threads on the forum with respectable tunas in your area.

far out guys. we have been rude.

:welcome2: to our forum.

You have come to the right place.

Steer clear of pingune in regards to those email tunes.

Cut your loses now, cause $240 isn't that bad.

Had your engine blown, it could have been more expensive.

Where are you located?

I am to lazy to use the search function right now and I am sure that K31th knows this off by heart already.

Who's the closest recommended tuna for him?
