Popped in here to do some diff research for a mate who has a G6et. He just blew a hole threw the diff cover and a hole through the pumpkin with a stocker :mosking:

I have a G6E Turbo 2013. My car has an LSD. Is it possibly the earlier ones that dont have the LSD?

Simple fix, just buy a later model. The TruTrac or XR6 turbo diff, will likely cost you more then simply buying a later model

Happy to be proved wrong but I'm pretty sure that no version of the g6et has ever come from the factory with lsd.

I'm certainly no expert. But I put mine up the hoist and had my mechanic friend check both wheels spin the same way when you manually turn it. I've been told apart from a nice skid, this is the best way to check. Is there a number or anything I can check for?

oh yep been answered :)

I have an open diff in mine and it spins both when I rip skids leaving McDonald car parks. ;) They way you tested from my understanding is the best way to tell without opening it up.
